What you need to know about
fundraising for us…
Every single penny goes to Nayamba.
Make it happen
We rely on all our amazing volunteers and supporters to raise funds on our behalf. We’ve been involved in some really special and fun activities which have raised amazing sums of money for Nayamba. We’ve had cycle rides, sponsored runs, afternoon teas - too many events to mention.
So if you’ve got an idea brewing, please do get in touch, we will help support your fundraising idea in any way that we can. We, and the children and teachers at Nayamba, think you are amazing.
Thank you.
Fundraising opportunies

Fundraising at home
There are so many ways to raise funds for Nayamba. Maybe you could organise a cycle ride with friends, or perhaps a morning drinking coffee and eating cake is more your style. Perhaps you could ask friends to donate the cost of their breakfast for a week to support our food programme. Whatever ideas you have, get in touch - we’d love to help you!

Fundraising at work
Most companies undertake some form of fundraising these days, whether that is in the form of corporate giving or colleagues coming together to run an event or sponsor a team. Head on over to our For Business page for more ideas about how you could organise an event or maybe suggest that your company chooses Nayamba as Charity of the Year.

Fundraising at school
We believe it’s so important for our young people to become global citizens and learn about other people’s lives and cultures. Which is why we’ve developed our Learn Global programme which provides resources for teachers to use in school. Find out more about how your school can join in on our For Schools page.
More inspiring fundraisers…

Eleanor and Amelia (both 16) did the Haldon Heroic 15 mile gravel trail together on Sunday 13th April. It was very difficult terrain with a total of 1085ft ascent. It was their first ever cycling event. They encountered a few technical issues but persevered to finish in 3 hours, 2 mins and 12.4 seconds, still smiling but very ready for a hot drink and some chocolate! They are proud to have raised over £400 so far of their £500 target.

Steve Godbeer ran the Great West Run for Nayamba School raising an incredible £3055 which equates to 43,470 school lunches for the pupils! His motivation was to help the school to provide funds to ensure that the food programme is able to continue at the required standards for all of the students. Thanks Steve!

Henry and Martin from Exe-Squared chose to raise funds for Nayamba School on their intrepid ride from London to Berlin on Ad-Moto E-scooters, to attend the GITEX tech exhibition. Huge well done to you both, and the team!

It’s always a good idea to let us know when you are organising an event on behalf of Nayamba so that we can provide any extra support if needed.

Yes, yes, and yes again. We’d love you to share as much as you can on Social, just make sure you tag us in any of your posts (we are on Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn).

It depends. We are a small team but will always try and help anyone who is fundraising on our behalf, even if that is just to share on our social channels to try and encourage more people to join in!
